Week 11 DFS Analysis
I updated the view from last week because I found it particularly helpful for making decisions on draft choices. Although I was slightly off in some cases (choosing Leonard Fournette over Ronald Jones II), I think this a good lead into further analysis. Plus its the thought that counts right? Anyways here is the same visual with data updated through week 10 (data from http://www.rotoguru1.com/)
One thing to take note of is that the 2 biggest offenders of allowing points to running backs are both playing each other with their starting running backs injured. Carolina and Detroit will probably both follow a running back by committee approach but if you can successfully pick out which running back(s) will get hot, more power to you.
Picks I like:
Joe Burrow paired with Tee Higgens:
Although Washington has yet to allow 25+ points to a receiver this season, they have allowed quarterbacks to go over 25 on 3 separate occasions. With Burrow and Higgens being a relatively cheap pairing, I like the aspect of them putting up numbers on Washington.
I don't know what New Orleans' offense is going to look like with Taysom Hill under center, but if I had to guess it's going to be a copy of what Baltimore is doing- run heavy while throwing to the tight ends when needed. Atlanta has allowed 20+ points to tight ends on 3 separate occasions this season so look for Cook to go off.
The Dolphins' defense is already averaging 9.2 points per game and will be facing a Denver offense that gives a lot of points away.
