Thursday Night Football: Bets I Like for Bucs @ Bears
After weeks of the NFL delivering duds on Thursday Night Football, this week's matchup actually has the potential to be a decent game. I don't want to overhype this too much but this game may in fact be more entertaining than endless hours of C-SPAN.
Here is a breakdown of the rushing and receiving leaders for both teams:
I like Tampa -3.5 and I think the betting markets generally agree because I have seen the line move to -4.0 in some cases. The Buccaneers appear to be clicking on offense and I am not sure if the Bears can keep up on the scoreboard.
Allen Robinson to score at least 1 touchdown (+129)
Robinson has scored a touchdown in the last 2 games with Foles throwing to him
Jimmy Graham to have 4 or more receptions (+110)
Graham was targeted 7 times in one half by Foles in the win over Atlanta yet only 6 times in the loss to Indianapolis. I am expecting him to get more looks in the passing game as they have had success with that strategy before.
Ronald Jones II to have at least 2 touchdowns (+350)
This one is kind of a stretch seeing that Jones II only has one touchdown all season and the Bears are tied for 1st in passing touchdowns allowed and tied for 12th in rushing touchdowns allowed. That being said, with Fournette doubtful and Godwin out, Jones II should be seeing more targets and rushing attempts near the goal line.
